How to Beat Slot Machines With Your Mind

By Randall Fitzgerald

Inside every casino slot machine manufactured today is a computer chip called a random number generator, sometimes referred to as the heart and soul of the ‘one-armed bandit’ because it determines the outcome of every bet and play. (RNG’s generate number combinations reflected on symbols that appear on the payline of a reel to indicate whether you have won or lost.)

What most people in the gambling industry don’t know is how the random number generator (RNG) was invented and used four decades ago in parapsychological experiments testing the ability of the human mind to intuit, or influence, streams of number data.

Helmut Schmidt created the first RNG in 1969 for a mind-over-matter experiment while he was a physicist for the Boeing Company Laboratory. His test subjects concentrated on affecting the movement of a circle of lights that corresponded to the RNG’s counter being set in either a 1 or 2 position.

By odds of 10,000 to 1 beyond chance expectation, Schmidt’s test subjects affected the number sequence governing movement of the lights.

Within a decade other parapsychological researchers had employed RNG’s in even more extensive and sophisticated experiments. At Princeton University test subjects were asked to coax RNG’s to produce either larger-than-average or smaller-than-average sequences of numbers. The most effective subjects felt a resonance with the computer that involved a loss of awareness of themselves and their surroundings, a state similar to deep meditation.

Nearly a half-million experimental trials were conducted at Princeton and the results appeared in the book, Margins Of Reality, by Professors Robert Jahn and Brenda Dunne. Quite simply, some people were found to possess a phenomenal ability to affect (or intuit) seemingly random flows of RNG information.

Additional RNG studies at Stanford Research Institute in 1986 concluded that successful test subjects were using intuition (in the form of precognition) to determine the exact moment to press a play button and predict an advantageous string of numbers. It was during this period, the late 1980’s, that Rng’s as produced by International Game Technology in Nevada and other manufacturers, became a common feature in slot machines.

Physics World, an international journal for physicists, published a Greek physicist’s paper on Rng’s in 2000 that concluded the human mind can “sustain the ‘direction’ of any naturally occurring localized deviations from chance, such as a run…the operator could affect the patterns by which the bits are arranged in time.”

All of these results taken together make a persuasive case that, under the right conditions, a human being can ‘intuit’ the most ‘pregnant’ slot machine to play and feel the right moment to play it to ‘capture’ a number combination that will produce a jackpot.

Many mega jackpot winners report having felt an intuitive attraction to a particular machine that proved a winner. Sue Henley, for one, went to the New York-New York casino in Las Vegas after work one morning in 1997 after feeling a strong intuitive resonance with a particular machine. “I gamble when I have a feeling,” she explained after hitting a $12 million jackpot on the machine. “I only play when the hunch or feeling comes up.”

My own experiences with intuition and slot machine jackpots since 2002– amounting to $6,000 in winnings at a time — have proven to be the anecdotal proof for me that probability theory, on which all casino executives base their ‘house edge,’ does not always rule with a firm hand.

15 Foods to Power Up Your Dreams

By Rebecca Turner / Source: World Of Lucid Dreaming

Some foods naturally enhance your dreams thanks to their nutrient content. Specifically, we’re looking at foods that are rich in vitamin B6 and tryptophan – as both are linked with greater dream recall and intensity.

Although this is not a magic bullet for lucid dreaming (no food or supplement is) you can use this to boost your dream recall and dream vividness. In doing so, this increases your chances of lucidity when paired with some basic techniques like dream journaling and reality checks.

Dream-Boosting Foods and Supplements

Before we look at specific dream-enhancing foods, let’s examine how and why these ingredients affect dream intensity and what levels are safe to ingest, both in terms of food consumption and as a daily supplement. Consider this a two-pronged approach: below I’ll explain why you’ll want to take a B6 supplement and eat tryptophan-rich foods in combination in order to stimulate your dream life.

Step #1 – Take a Vitamin B6 Supplement

In 2002, a double-blind study revealed that participants who took a daily 250mg B6 supplement reported a significant increase in dream content – as measured in dream vividness, bizarreness, emotionality and color.

This is actually greater than the recommended maximum daily intake for healthy adults, which is 100mg. In fact, you only need about 1.3mg of vitamin B6 each day, and you usually get that from the foods you eat.

So 100mg a day is a fair whack of a dose, especially if you take it on a prolonged basis. In the study above, participants took the 250mg dose for just 3 days. So this is not a long term experiment and should be maintained at your own discretion.

How much is too much? Doses of 500-1,000mg, taken daily for several months, can lead to sensory neuropathy (pain and numbness of the extremities).

To get started, know this: casual experiments by other dreamers have shown the amount of B6 needed to increase dream intensity varies from 100-500mg depending on the person. Try starting with a safe 100mg vitamin B6 supplement taken an hour or two before bed for just a few nights in a row, then have a break for a few weeks. If you don’t see any benefit, you can increase the nightly dose at your own risk, but remember not to do this on a prolonged basis.

Unfortunately, if you don’t want to take a B6 supplement, you’ll have to eat a heck of a lot of B6-rich foods to make that 100mg quota. (Rice bran is especially rich in B6 and yet one cup contains only 4.8mg. Meanwhile, yellow-fin tuna offers 0.88mg in a 3-ounce serving.) So, while you can eat certain B6-rich foods, getting a high enough dose to affect your dreams will realistically require a supplement.

Step #2 – Eat Tryptophan-Rich Foods

One of the roles of vitamin B6 is to convert the essential amino acid tryptophan into serotonin and niacin. This helps the body regulate appetite, sleep patterns and mood. As a result, tryptophan is used therapeutically to treat insomnia, depression and anxiety. Low levels of tryptophan are also linked with poor dream recall.

The Recommended Daily Allowance for tryptophan is 392mg for men and 322mg for women, assuming a normal RDA-level protein intake. While there is no upper limit identified, it’s interesting to note that doctors prescribe tryptophan therapeutically in doses exceeding 5g per day with no adverse effects.

On the flip side, you should also be aware that the FDA doesn’t allow the sale of tryptophan as a supplement due to a suspected link with EMS (eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome). Though many experts now believe the 1989 scare was caused by a contaminated batch, tryptophan is now only available on prescription.

So, in order to increase your tryptophan intake, you need to eat tryptophan-rich foods. Luckily, it’s not hard to eat sufficient tryptophan to affect your dream intensity. We’ll look at the best food sources below.

(Note: If you want to skip the whole process of eating tryptophan-rich foods and pop a pill instead, there is another workaround to the FDA ban. Instead of getting more tryptophan, take 5-HTP instead, which is what your body naturally converts tryptophan into before it becomes serotonin. A 100mg 5-HTP supplement an hour or two before bed should do the job.)

Step #3 – Make More Serotonin

The purpose of taking higher doses of vitamin B6 and tryptophan/5-HTP is to increase your serotonin levels, which play an important role in regulating the sleep/wake cycle. In particular, serotonin creates more vivid dreams at higher levels.

You may be wondering why you can’t just skip the middle-men and take serotonin supplements directly. Unfortunately these aren’t available because serotonin can’t easily cross the blood-brain barrier. Instead you must produce serotonin naturally.

All this can lead to significantly increased intensity of your regular dreams, providing the springboard many beginners seek for having lucid dreams.

15 Foods That Intensify Your Dreams

Now that we’ve got all the messy explanations out of the way, here are those foods which will enhance your dreams by ramping up your serotonin conversion.

When you’re ready to begin the dream-intensity challenge, take your vitamin B6 supplement and then fuel the fire with plenty of tryptophan-rich foods such as:

Chicken (4 oz) gives 0.41g tryptophan
Soybeans (1 cup) gives 0.39g tryptophan
Turkey (4 oz) gives 0.38g tryptophan
Tuna (4 oz) gives 0.38g tryptophan
Venison (4 oz) gives 0.36g tryptophan
Lamb (4 oz) gives 0.35g tryptophan
Salmon (4 oz) gives 0.35g tryptophan
Halibut (4 oz) gives 0.34g tryptophan
Shrimp (4 oz) gives 0.33g tryptophan
Cod (4 oz) gives 0.29g tryptophan
I realize that list is a little meat-heavy, and if you’re a vegetarian it doesn’t give many options. So here are five more veggie-friendly foods:

Kidney Beans (1 cup) gives 0.18g tryptophan
Pumpkin Seeds (0.25 cup) gives 0.17g tryptophan
Tofu (4 oz) gives 0.14g tryptophan
Cheese (1 oz) gives 0.09g tryptophan
Soy Sauce (1 tbsp) gives 0.03g tryptophan
These foods are best consumed at night with your evening meal, a few hours before bed and before ingesting your B6 pill. Sweet dreams!

The One-Moment Meditation

In One-Moment Meditation: Stillness for People on the Go, Martin Boroson distils the philosophy of time into a simple form of meditation that you can do anywhere, anytime. It begins with an exercise that takes just one minute per day. With practice, this takes less and less time, until it takes no time at all. Then each and every moment gives you a chance to reduce stress, refresh your mind, and open yourself to new possibilities.

Three Ways to Hypnotize a Chicken

By Linda Riggins /  The Old Farmer’s Almanac

“I’ve been hypnotizing chickens since I was nine, when the county 4-H agent in Milwaukee showed me how,” says Dr. Doris White, a Bernardsville, New Jersey, chicken farmer who is also professor of elementary education at William Paterson College and a chicken hypnotism instructor. “When he taught me, I thought everyone knew how to hypnotize chickens.” She was wrong. She points out that “some farmers are still surprised that a person can hypnotize chickens. But after they see me demonstrate how it’s done, they go home and try it themselves.”

Dr. White shows her audiences two methods of hypnotizing chickens. The Oscillating Finger Method is probably the easier of the two. Place the bird on its side with a wing under its body and hold it down gently. Make sure its head is flat on the table. To hypnotize the bird, use one finger of the free hand, moving the finger back and forth in front of the bird’s beak from its tip (without touching it) to a point that is about four inches from the beak. Keep the finger in a line parallel to the beak.

The second technique is the Sternum Stroke Method. Gently put the bird on its back. It may be necessary to use a book, purse, or other item to keep the bird from rolling onto its side. Hold the bird down. Lightly massage the bird’s sternum, using the slightly spread thumb and index finger of one hand to do the stroking.

(Editor’s Note: A third technique, discovered buried in the files of The Old Farmer’s Almanac, is the Chalk Line Method. Draw a straight chalk mark about a foot long. Hold the chicken with its beak on one end of the line, staring straight out at the chalk mark. In a few seconds, the chicken will be hypnotized.)

“A bird will stay hypnotized for a couple of seconds, minutes, or hours,” says White, although in her demonstrations they’re “out” for only minutes. Regardless of the method used, a sudden movement or loud noise will bring the chicken out of the hypnotic trance.

White adds, “Pheasants go out faster than any other bird. Wild pheasants are very nervous and high-strung, and usually very easy to hypnotize.” In her demonstrations, she is protective of pheasants, because after they come out of hypnosis, they are likely to hurt themselves unless they are carefully monitored.

Noting that domestic birds are more difficult to hypnotize than wild ones, she suggests that one reason may be that wild birds are using a survival skill when they submit to hypnosis.

White has reported the results of her experiments at several New Jersey science conferences and fairs. In one of her studies of 11 birds, the heart and respiration rates, when measured five minutes after hypnosis, were significantly lower than in the prehypnotic state. For example, in a Bantam White Cochin cock, the heart rate before hypnosis was 457 beats per minute and after hypnosis 372. The rates for this bird’s respiration were 22 and 20 breaths per minute, respectively. The temperatures of nine of these birds went down or were unchanged in the posthypnotic state.

The Power of Deep Brain Stimulation

By Nelson Berry, Creator of Subliminal Video Messages

Have you ever explored the concept of deep brain stimulation? The brain is very powerful; it is like the central processing unit of our bodies. Only the experts understand how it works, and they don’t even fully grasp the concept. Thus, the brain is also very mysterious.

But we have also learned about techniques on how to penetrate the deeper, mysterious levels of the brain. One of these techniques is deep brain stimulation, a process that attempts to reach deep beyond our consciousness into the inner workings of the mind.

We are capable of understanding our thoughts and forming logical conclusions in our heads. But there is a huge part of our minds that we have no control over. This part usually applies its influences in random areas of our lives, whether we like it or not.

And we find ourselves unable to control our own minds, our own habits, actions, behaviors, desires, fears, and decisions. These uncontrollable processes of the mind are all the works of the subconscious mind, a powerful state of consciousness that we have no access to and yet it has all the access to our life.

1. How to access the deep levels of the brain.

The concept of deep brain stimulation is to stimulate the brain at that level: the subconscious level. But how can you reach that level when its gates are guarded by the conscious mind?

Simple; by putting the conscious mind to sleep or in a trance so it will not block your way to your subconscious.

You can do this using different methods, such as:
• Brainwave entrainment
• Hypnosis
• Meditation

2. How to change the way the subconscious works.

It is not enough to merely access the subconscious. Once you get there, how can you really change the way it is programmed?

There are now many subliminal products that are designed to apply this kind of stimulation and alteration on our brains. You can use:
• Videos
• MP3s/audio
• Downloads

These all use a single weapon: subliminal messages. These are messages hidden in the videos, MP3s, and other downloadable products used in deep brain stimulation. You can use the messages that you want to program into your head.

3. How to change the direction of your life.

Deep brain stimulation is used to penetrate through our habits and actions so we can get rid of bad habits and change our actions from negative to positive. But do we really need to stimulate the brain every time we are tempted to do something negative?

The answer is no. There is a way to completely reprogram the mind to think in a more positive light so that it always goes to the positive direction, without the need for constant stimulation. This requires a total makeover of your mind’s inner processes, a total renovation of the processes your mind undergoes when it is faced with a particular situation. This way, the overall direction of your life will also change. Learn more at Subliminal Video Messages.

How to Fake Your Way to Happiness

How dependent are you on outside forces for your happiness?

Are you happier when you achieve what you’ve been longing for, or when you simply have to just make do with what you’ve got? For example, the amount of happiness your experience as a result of you finally getting that promotion, compared to not getting it?

In this TED Talk, Stumbling On Happiness author Dan Gilbert explains that scientifically, we can be just as happy by manufacturing our own happiness (synthetic happiness) as we can if we get what we want. The reason for this is because we have a psychological immune system that slides into gear during circumstances that may initially make us feel pretty miserable.

One of the most interesting pieces of trivia he reveals is one case where the happiness levels of paraplegics and lottery winners were compared. Astoundingly, one year after both of their remarkably different life-altering experiences, they exhibited the same level of happiness.

Erotic Telepathy

Telepathic attraction. Who hasn’t felt it at least once? But wait a minute. What is telepathic attraction? A weird sensation that is difficult to put into words, an uncontrollable instinct with no logic. What about erotic telepathy? Maybe somebody is calling you with their mind, but your rational mind is not trained to take in such messages.

So, what is telepathy? When an unknown situation all of a sudden feels all too familiar, when you believe you know what somebody else is thinking, even if that somebody is unknown to you, when you are turned on by someone you have never seen before…is this telepathy? These experiences might be the result of a pleasant, excellent and affectionate love relationship, or the deepening of mental communication between two people who are in contact.

It has been proven that spontaneous telepathic transmission is closely linked with the type of relationship between the two connected subjects. They attract a certain type of “love energy,” which facilitates the reciprocal transmission of thoughts…whether you want it or not…

Out-Of-Body Experiences with New Brainwave Technology

Scientific evidence is now suggesting that we can leave our physical body and that we may even survive the death of that physical body.

Using brainwave technology it was found that a certain combination of alpha and theta harmonics caused the immediate transference of consciousness away from the physical body.

Almost everyone trying these frequencies has agreed that the effect is very unusual. Several users have reported a distinct ‘moving’ of their perception from the physical body.

We believe the OOBE experience is an advanced form of astral projection. It can involve complete secondary body translocation rather than mind projection. A typical example of OOBE is where you actually see your physical body in the position you left it.

How Does it Work?

Accurately calibrated music synthesis software has been used to create the exact isochronic beat frequencies required to induce out of body activity.

Experimenting through the whole range of alpha and theta waves (from 5 – 12 Hz) it was found that a combination of isochronic frequencies consistently caused acomplete shift in consciousness. This feeling was likened to all of your bodily awareness, suddenly being pulled into your pineal area (third eye).

Astral projection, Remote Viewing and Past Life Regression all take place in the Theta Phase of our altered consciousness. The frequencies used in the Isochiral Music products have been specifically designed for this ( they are not random theta induction products – they will help to stabilize the sleep borderline state).

Once you have achieved stability and confidence in the sleep borderline environment you will be able to move your awareness around within this visible environment. You will have dissociated from your physical body and are now in what many people call the astral body or the astral vehicle. In some instances you can still see your physical body. This is not as common as popular literature suggests. It is very rare to see a silver cord connecting the astral and the physical bodies.

What You Will Experience

With experience you will be learn to differentiate the different types of images.

i) The astral and past life images will often have an ethereal quality. The colours will be vibrant and senses will be extremely heightened. There will often be clues that the content is past life related ( We have many students who will correlate their experiences with real events or locations on the internet)

ii) Remote viewing images will seem more part of this world ( and of course they are). Many students have likened this to watching a live remote camera where you have control over angle, zoom and position. You are not visible to others in these situations.

iii) With astral projection you mostly have control over what you do and where you go (many have suggested that this is a similar experience to wake induce lucid dreaming – I am personally inclined to agree but would suggest that Dream Induced Lucid Dreaming is a different state and experience)Sometimes you can feel that you are being led and this can be exciting. However you do always maintain control.

Also a quick word about the differences between the astral and oobe frequencies.

As mentioned the astral frequencies work in the theta phase and help to stabilize the sleep borderline state. The oobe frequencies go into a deeper state of consciousness than this. The dominant frequencies are almost into the delta range. This has the tendency to slow down the image stream so that you have more control over your interaction. However as the oobe frequencies take you well beyond the normal sleep threshold it is more likely that you will fall asleep to begin with.

We are often asked if astral projection or remote viewing is dangerous. In our experience the answer is no. In a decade of research and working with thousands of students; we have no reports of adverse experiences on the astral plane.

The programme lasts for 60 minutes and has a fantastic success rate. Learn more here…
